The Grand Tour of Pendle

 

Colne Cycling Campaign teamed up with Pendle Borough Council in 2005 to devise a 35 mile tour round Pendle Hill. It takes you through rugged Pennine moorland and on towards the Ribble Valley before returning via the industrial heritage of the Leeds Liverpool canal corridor.

Start of Ride

In May 2006 we organised an inaugural ride to launch the route. While some managed to do the route in just over two hours, most of us took a more leisurely approach, completing the ride in something over twice that time.
